"Harriet Tubman Helping People Escape from Slavery" Collins, Paul

Harriet Tubman was a major figure in American history. She joined the Underground Railroad in the 1850’s as a reaction to slavery (“Harriet Tubman”). Tubman made her reform to slavery was when its abolition was passed in 1863 (13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution...). Tubman kept on fighting for human rights, despite differences, up until her death by making the home for the aged (Dawson).​​​​​​​
