Ruby bridges is a frontier in history because she helped make education equal for all races. bridges importance is that she helped children have better education no matter there race. by the time she got to high school more schools were desegragated (Biography). later on in life ruby bridges wrote two books and got a Carter G Woodson book award (Biography).
