Influence

Notre Dame not only influences its students but they also have a vast influence on South Bend, surrounding areas and even worldwide (Sorin 29). The University influenced the people by providing a Catholic education in the area, and they were even able to provide a home and education for orphaned children (Wack). Notre Dame has also influenced the lives of other schools and universities by giving their students the option to major in teaching (“About”). This influences other schools because it gives the schools potential teachers (“About”). Notre Dame influences today's world especially because even though there are many challenges in the world, it still follows the Catholic faith that Father Sorin first introduced at the university (“About”).
