The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a document that has impacted the world with the creation of global liberty and dignity. Even before the creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, its need brought together nearly the entire world to form the United Nations and created mutual peace among countries (“Universal Declaration of Human Rights” OHCHR). The Universal Declaration of Human Rights helped to bring peace to people, regardless of their race, sex, language, or political opinion (“Universal Declaration of Human Rights”). When the world had been in shock from the horrors of World War II, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was formed, creating global laws that would prevent such events from ever being repeated; this document brought safety and peace to the world (“The Universal Declaration…”). The Universal Declaration of Human Rights impacted the world in a way as no other; it has brought peace to a time of chaos and united the world to internationally protect all man-kind (“Universal Declaration of Human Rights.” OHCHR).
